Invitation to the PREBIC AA Seoul Symposium 2018
The Preterm birth international collaborative Australasia branch (PREBIC-AA) invites you to mobilize existing resources to advance preterm birth reduction research, which will be held in Seoul, Korea on August 31 - September 1, 2018.
PREBIC-AA is an international nonprofit organization with focus on the preterm birth, which is a leading cause for the developmental disabilities. Presently, there is no effective preventive intervention for the spontaneous preterm birth. We truly believe our annual scientific meeting will be beneficial to the global and local research communities and scientific professionals. We are looking forward to having you as the expert to participate in this meeting to promote the research and clinical intervention for preterm birth.
The meeting’s theme will be Environmental influences on spontaneous preterm birth (sPTB). The preliminary program includes: Epidemiology study of sPTB; Influences of environmental and environment-genetic factors on sPTB; Biomarkers for sPTB and for placenta development; Contribution of young investigators in the sPTB/placenta research; Non-invasive technologies in early detection of sPTB and placental medicine; International collaboration on sPTB/placenta research; sPTB /placental medicine.
More than 30 internationally renowned experts and the local Korean experts, will participate in this meeting. You, as one of outstanding investigators in the preterm birth research area, it will be an opportunity to advance scientific knowledge to prevent preterm birth through global collaborative research based on th principles of open communication, trust and honesty. And also it will be expect chances to identify knowledge gaps in preterm birth reduction strategies, and design, develop and conduct research to fill those gaps.
